PLAYER VERIFICATION:

FOOTHILL WILL BE HOLDING IN-PERSON DOCUMENT DROP-OFF AND VERIFICATION DAYS on Tuesday, Dec 10th and Wednesday, Dec 11th, 2024. As we get closer to this date, we will send out a notification of the times and location.

You will need to provide at least one document from each group listed below:

Group I:

1. Driver's license,

2. School records

3. Vehicle records

4. Employment records

5. Insurance documents.

Group II:

1. Welfare/child care records

2. Federal records (i.e. Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)

3. State records

4. Local (municipal) records

5. Support payment records

6. Homeowner or tenant records

7. Military records

Group III:

1. Voter's registration,

2. Utility bills (gas, water, trash, etc)

3. Financial records,

4. Medical records,

5. Internet bill,

6. cable bill

and lastly, you’ll need to bring:

1. Little League Medical Release Form

2. ORIGINAL Birth Certificate

3. Parent and Player's Code of Conduct

We will also be scheduling player assessments at the in-person document drop events on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday, January 12th, 2025.

VOLUNTEERING:

We will be collecting these documents and volunteer checks made out to Foothill Little League for ($300 per child). Once your volunteer requirement is fulfilled, we will return /shred these checks at the end of the season. If you wish to opt out of your volunteering duties, let us know and Foothill Little League will cash the volunteer check.

WAIVER ELIGIBILITY:

1) If you reside outside of our boundary but attend a school within our boundaries, please fill out the following form and have a school representative sign - School Enrollment Verification.

2) If you qualify for Regulation II(d) Waiver, you can access it here - Regulation II(d) Waiver

3) If you reside outside of our boundary and attend school outside of our boundary, please contact Jayson Cohen at [email protected]. Specific waivers must be filled out and APPROVED before acceptance into FHLL.

Player Assessment / Evaluation Process (mandatory for League Age 7 and up)

Player safety and skills appropriate to each division are carefully evaluated during assessments. There is no guaranteed “playing up” or “playing down”; these decisions are made only after all assessments have been completed.

NOTE: Your player may not end up in the division you initially registered for. Selection to play in your registered division will be based on the Draft process and approval by the player agent, with player safety and skills as key factors.

Farm A Division (Ages 7 to 9)

Farm A Division is a non-competitive division that focuses on instruction, player development, and encouragement. Games include junior umpires, scorekeeping, and an end-of-season playoff. This is a kid / coach pitch division.

Farm A Division has specific supplemental rules that are shared with managers and coaches at the start of each season. Coaches, players, and parents are encouraged to review these rules to enhance the game-day experience.

Age Guidelines for Farm A Division

All players selected to play in Farm A are required to participate in Farm A assessments. During assessments, player safety and skill level are carefully considered to ensure appropriate placement.

League Age 6 – It is recommended that league age 6 players with at least one year of baseball experience register for Farm B. If your league age 6 player would like to play in the Farm A division, they must participate in the Farm A Assessments. Selection to play in Farm A will be based on the Draft Process and approval by the Player Agent, with player safety and skills as key factors.

League Age 7 – All players are required to participate in Farm A assessments. Based on player safety and skill level, some league age 7 players will be eligible for Farm B per the discretion of the Player Agent.

League Age 8 – All players are required to participate in Farm A assessments. If you would like to be assessed for another division (ie. Minors), you must participate in both division assessments.

League Age 9 –It is required that League age 9 players register and attend assessments for the Minors Division. If your league age 9 player like to play in the Farm A division, they must also participate in the Farm A Assessments. Selection to play in Farm A will be based on the Draft Process and approval by the Player Agent, with player safety and skills as key factors.

Player Assessment Process

Player safety and appropriate skill levels for each division are carefully evaluated during tryouts. Please note that division placement is not guaranteed and may differ from the division you initially registered for. Division selection is based on the draft process, with the player agent’s approval factoring in player safety and skill level.
