Registration

When can I register for the Spring season?
On-line registration opens in mid-to late November. Early bird registration is available to all returning players. If you are not a returning player but would like to be added to our distribution list, please contact [email protected]

How do I register?
Part 1 of Registration is done online via the FHLL Website. You must first create an account in Sports Connect. There are many steps to registration that must be completed. Please be aware you must provide prove residency to play. You can upload your documents right in your account.
Part 2 of registration is you must attend the in-person registration event to be verified. Little league is very strict on boundaries and we must verify you are eligible to play in our league.

Do you offer scholarships?
The league does offer a limited number of scholarships for families who cannot afford the fee. We have a form you must fill out in order to be considered for a scholarship. Contact [email protected] for details.

Why was I asked for a $300 volunteer deposit?
All FHLL families are required to volunteer per player, meaning if you have two kids, you must volunteer for both. Your check will be returned or destroyed at the end of the season if you work your shift.

We've decided not to play baseball this season.  Can we get a refund?

Our Refund Policy:

Before December 15th 2024:
     Cancellation / Refund requests must be in writing sent to the player agent.  Full Refund of registration fees.

After January 1st  2025:
No Refunds will be issued after this date, taking into consideration assessments, drafts, waitlist, and balanced teams.

General Information

When does the Spring Season start?
Teams will be formed in late January with practices beginning in early February. Games will begin in early March, and will end early to late-May. Important dates will be posted on the calendar as available.

Where are games played?
Games are played at the FHLL Fields Complex, at the back of Arroyo Verde Park for all divisions except Juniors. Junior teams play games and practice at other locations.

What time commitment is required?
Beginning in February, teams will practice 2-3 times per week. Once games begin in early March, teams play 2 games per week, usually once during the week and once on the weekend. Teams usually practice 1-2 times per week once games start.
All T-Ball teams will play one game per week, with one practice per week. 

What will I need to buy?
The league will provide a uniform jersey and hat. To complete the uniform, you will need baseball pants, socks, and a belt. Wait on purchasing these until your Manager tells you what color to buy. You will also need a baseball glove and cleats. It is not necessary for younger players (Farm B or younger) to purchase baseball-specific cleats, other cleats will do fine if you already have them. Older players should purchase baseball cleats.

Are parents required to volunteer?
Yes, we need everyone's help! All families are required to volunteer (approximately 6 hours) per player. FHLL is entirely a volunteer organization, and it takes all of us to keep things running! There are lots of fun and rewarding ways to contribute.

Are there any fundraisers during the Spring Season?
We have multiple fundraisers during the season. Most of which are held at local Ventura restaurants. FHLL gets a percentage of the night’s total.
We also have Dodger Days. FHLL has its own link to buy Dodger tickets. We get a percentage of ticket sales through this link.
